My Sweetest Man
When I was a pre-school girl, he brought and fetch me from school, riding in the motorcycle.
He prepared my baon, my school things and even my uniform.
He accompanied me in our field trip.
When I was in grade school, he was the one who always attends the school PTA meeting.
He was mistaken to be my Lolo when he brought my lunch in school when I was in Grade 2.
He was also the one I always bothered whenever we have an industrial arts project.
When I was high school, he washed and ironed my clothes (even my undies :p ).
He made sure I have eaten my breakfast before I left for school.
He was the one I always argued with about the things the teenager I was then, were doing.
When I was in college, he accompanied be to the bus stop at 2 in the morning to wait for the bus going to Manila.
He visited us, me and my brothers, in our apartment almost every week to cook food and to wash our mountain-like basket of dirty clothes.
He told my friend on my 18th birthday that for him I was still not a lady.
He's an excellent musician.
He's a good cook.
He's a great carpenter/plumber/electrician.
He's a well-rounded person.
He always drinks alcohol and talks a lot when drunk *sigh*.
He's strict, but loving.
He can never chance upon this non-sense blog. But I just want everybody to know how much I love him. I appreciate even the littlest of things that he does for me. I know he's not an ideal Dad, but for me, he's the best. His the sweetest man in my life...
Happy Father's Day, Daddy!
