Summer Wish

While doing some leisure surfing during lunch break in the office, I came across this website and upon exploring the site, my zealous desire to go out this summer intensified. Now that I already have time for vacations, I just can't let this summer pass without going beyond the boundaries of NLEX/SLEX. So Lord, please allow me to experience a "real" summer this time. Please allow our "planned" out-of-town trips to transpire. Thanks in advance!

Some Random Updates
Just a quick look on my past couple of weeks:

• Weekend Getaways. For the consecutive weekends since February entered, I was away from home enjoying my renewed social life since I left the MR industry. I stayed home once because of my father's plea for me not to leave for they had not seen me for the consecutive weekends that they visited us. Here are the places where I could be found when I was missing in action at home:

• February 9 - Hot Air Balloon Festival with Joey's high school friends in Clark, Pampanga and Subic Safari afterwards

• February 16 - Joey's nephew's Christening in San Fernando, Pampanga

• February 23-25 - Baguio Panagbenga Festival with Tuesday Group

• March 8 - Tagaytay and Calaruega trip with Tuesday Group

As Mona puts it, nahahawa na daw ako sa paglalakwatsa nila...hehe!

There are some more "gala" lined up in the coming weeks especially in April. Need to tighten my budget. By the way, will be going home to Nueva Ecija pala next week. Yey!

• New Cam. After a looooonnnggg wait from HSBC because of their poooooorrrr customer service (I'll post an entry about that "arggghh" experience I had with them, if sinipag...hehe!), I finally got myself a new toy (in replacement of my lost Samsung phone)! Got this one just a few days ago. I love it!

• ABS-CBN Event at Embassy, The Fort, March 13, 2008. Had fun because I was able to see some celebs and I got to use my one-day-old cam to take pics of them. Hihi! Sadness, I didn't win any prize in the raffle. Tsk. Di bale, I might win in the next events. Hehe!

Songs Like This
Of the 5 Schuyler Fisk songs that I have listened so far, this is one of those I fell in love with that I keep on playing it over and over again. The melody, the music and Schuyler's voice blend so well speaking of the emotion the song is trying to convey. I specifically love the way she sung the chorus. It's very heartfelt, so full of emotion. The drumbeat on the second stanza after the chorus saves one from being so carried away by the soft, gloomy intro. It even gives a touch of Beatles on the bridge part. hihi! :D
